I have had 9 sessions as of yesterday..and it will be 10 next Monday. I have to say though it feels like I have been in longer than that.

I don't have any other reason to ask this question other than to share how many I have had since starting T/recovery at the end of July and wondering how many its been for others up to this point.

Hugs from:

Thanks for this!

Ha! That's awesome. Yeah, I'm determined to stay with it too. This is my second time back to the same T. I started therapy at the end of 2011 into 2012..literally the week of Christmas I started seeing her and then she was on vacation for two weeks and I saw her every week for about a month and half and stopped because I got freaked out by the fact that she sat me down in one session and told me that we had only scratched the surface with me and that I can talk, but I don't like to go deep or open up and that I need to let my walls down. Instead of sticking with it and letting it push me I just reverted back inward and shut the whole world out for over a year.
Thanks for this!

You don't know how precisely and how perfectly this applies to my current situation. Like seriously. Wow. Thank you.

At this point, more than I can count! I started T in January of 2008 and while I've taken some breaks, I've had weekly sessions for most of the time between then and now.
Thanks for this!

Three years worth x two therapists. With the usual vacations and breaks and such. Actually with the second one I see, there have only been vacation, work and holiday missing. I don't take breaks from the second one.

I started seeing him at the end of June. Saw him 3 out of 4 weeks in July I think, and I think I've seen him 3 times so far in September (I was away for August).

So about 7 times.

Omg, like 85 in 7 months. Now I feel bad, like... what's so wrong w/me, ha.
But, I tell myself it's a good investment and I know, for me, once I commit to something, I am in 150% so I guess that's just true of therapy too, I wanna be an overachiever, lol.

Wow I never kept track, but I have been seeing my therapist every two weeks for the past 7 years, so that's a lot of sessions!

A bit over a year and a half. For the most part I go once a week. For one month I did go twice a week. My t was on vacation for one week, and I have canceled once. Overall I think that I have had about 86 sessions. This makes me somewhat nervous, because I feel like I am still very much in the beginning stages of whatever this process or path is.
