Since I have issues that are chronic (both emotional and physical), I have decided to try seeing a personal coach. I want a different perspective and try to stem the repeated rejection I receive from others. T's have not been able to help me much, if at all. The personal coach I hope to see is also a psychotherapist which can only help.

Has anyone else seen a personal coach? If so, I would be glad to hear if it helped. Thanks.

I am glad your coach is also a T. Someone was saying a while back that "life coach" is generally an unregulated title and therefore you don't need any particular qualification to call yourself that. Good luck!

I went to a life coach and hated it. Don't need s.o. telling me what to do. Same goes for CBT...
Hope you'll find it helpful.

Find life coaches to be a bit fake.

I just checked my email and learned that my HMO will not cover visits to the psychotherapist / life coach. He suggested that I go to my HMOs website for the names of others.

More time lost when I am in desperate need of help.
