So, I went to DBT group tonite. I had been in last year but dropped it because I didn't really see the point. After this whole fiasco with ex-T and former p-doc and the realization of my issues...I totally get why my treatment plan was focused so much on DBT. Yikes! It is going to be a lot of work but I think the time is well spent. I hate when realizations seem so obvious but it takes years of therapy and chaos to get them.

melissa, this is great. i was thinking DBT might be something that would be helpful for you but wasn't sure if suggesting it would be a good idea because you had so much going on. it's great when we come to realize what we need on our own.
