It felt good. First time in 3 years. Really showed that she cared. She knew I needed reassurance especially since I had earlier believed that I could no longer contact her out of session because of her own personal issues known by me because of her self-disclosure. (MY decision that I was not allowed, not HERS).

I very seldom reach out to her between sessions but when I do, it's because I need it.

I am very lucky to have found such a good T.

Thanks for this!

That's nice to hear, I know that I would feel good to see a Therapist of mine outside of session.

That's nice of your T to do that.

My last T only contacted me once out of session because I hadn't seen her in a few weeks. My new T has called me a few times just to check on me when he knows I'm having a hard time. He has also mentioned calling me while I'm in the hospital for surgery to see how I'm doing...I don't know if that's crossing boundaries but I agreed to it. I need all the support I can get right now.
