I am confused. I stopped seeing my therapist of 7+ years last week. It was not the wisest move to stop at the holidays, but I wanted a clean break before the new year. It was amicable parting.

She suggested I try emdr therapy. I have hard time letting go of the past. Even with a lot of therapy, i have so much anger towards my parents for my childhood. This spills over to work, where I am acting out emotionally.

Anyway, thoughts, how do I find an emdr therapist, anyone recommend a good therapist in Seattle. Thanks and peace be with you.

I don't know of an EMDR person in Seattle. I would think to call your insurance panel, 211, look into Google, or just pull a phone book and call T's in the area asking for someone who specializes in EMDR. Good luck
