My Ts Painting!!

I gave my T the painting I had commissioned for her to put up in her new office today. I was hoping she'd like it and she genuinely did. She felt it had a therapy theme to it since it's mother and baby.
I was so relieved to finally have it, give it to her, and that she really did seem to like it.Yay
And BTW: we had a good session afterward as well. Of course all my sessions have went rather well lately.

Ps I wish I tad taken a picture of it after I'd had it framed. I don't know why I didn't.

They are good luck and a sign of strength and perseverance. I know lots of strong persevering people here on PC. I find the elephant an awesome symbol.

It's so light and colorful with the coupling of the mother and baby. So sweet. I'm so glad she liked and and you had a good session together. That is so meaningful.

While I have a great appreciation for art, I am not capable of creating it. I didn't paint this painting. I commissioned it from a local artist that I know. I really believe this young lady is going somewhere. I didn't know how to create something so beautiful but I did know who to go to to get it done.

Thank you everyone for admiring the painting! I can't express how glad I was that my T see to love it.

Wow, I love this! Elephants are my favorite, and I think they are very fitting for a therapy room because I've heard a lot about how they can be caring and emotional. I've even heard that they can cry. How will you feel when you see the painting hung up in your T's office??
Thanks for this!

I have no idea how I'll feel. I haven't even thought about it. I kind of hope that it's on a wall behind me. I'm afraid I'd be distracted if it was where I could see it! I guess I'll find out next Friday. (No session on Monday)

It's gorgeous. I wonder if the colors were chosen for aesthetics or if they have a secondary meaning?

It's very fitting for a therapist's office. I never got my T a painting, but in a card I made for him, one of the pictures I chose was a lion with cubs.

Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this!

It's like you'll have a permanent tangible presence in her room now. That's too bad that you have to wait so long though!
