Hi, I'm not seeing a therapist but I do go to an ADHD clinic and talk to my new mental health nurse specialist. That's kind of like therapy I suppose. I have had only one half an hour appointment with him to fill out a questionnaire. My last few psychiatrists haven't done a good job and nor did they keep notes. My next appointment is January the 15th. It's a 2 hour one and its for an update asessment. What I want to know is what does this 2 hour long update assessment include? What kind of things. I also have aspergers syndrome and dyspraxia.

Another few things I want to add is:

- Should I write own things I want to tell him like ~ How I want him to do my blood pressure/weight check (He's done this before) an not the GP.

~ Give him some poems I wrote

~ How I want him to keep certain things between me and him

~ A thank you letter to him saying thanks for not making me see my psychiatrist that disrespected my dad dead

Is there anything else I should write? He said he wanted to get to know me better in the appointment letter and that he is glad I feel happy enough to want to go back to him.

If anyone could help that' be great, slightly worried about what will happen in the session.

Thank you for replying, I thought no one would. Normally when I put something on a forum no one replies!

Well, I do have to be prepared. I don't like surprises. I need to know what to expect. Otherwise I will worry.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
