So I had a long drive to my friend's place today and hearing all these songs on the radio really resonated with me.
They made me think of many of you, because it seems so many people are going through something similar right now: separating with their therapists. Whether it is a personal choice, the T is moving, or it is just time to end therapy, or perhaps you are in a situation where you are considering or forced to find a new therapist. I wanted to share.

"Tell me your secrets, and ask me your questions. Let's go back to the start." ^ This one is obvious.
..."Nobody said it was easy, it's such a shame for us to part. Nobody said it was easy, no one ever said it would be this hard...or take me back to the start."
^ This made me think of the few that are losing their T's currently due to different circumstances, and having to "start over again" with a new T, who really doesn't know you. This is such a hard spot to be in. It's something that is holding me back from considering giving a new T a try, even though the current one may not be what i need right now.

"If you have to leave, I wish you would just leave; because your presence still lingers here, and it won't leave me alone."
^ Another one that made me think of some recent posts by a couple different people.

"If being lost means that I'm never gonna be without you, I want to stay lost forever."
^ This relates to how I feel right now. I know it's actually a really unhealthy mind state because the point of therapy, is to heal and "find" yourself. But when suffering from a severe attachment disorder, where I'm never really able to fully attach to people...and then I actually attach to someone (to an extreme)...at times I have irrational thoughts and feelings of wanting to stay "troubled" or hold on to my problems forever, so I don't ever have to stop seeing her.

Maybe I'm weird for sharing this; But I thought it may help some people to know they are thought of, by a complete stranger, who was touched by their story. Sometimes I find music to be the only way I could actually make sense of what I'm feeling.

Hope everyone's hanging in there alright.

Love it. Sometimes music just has a way of saying it, doesn't it?
