For those keeping up with my posts, I cant think straight , im too overwhelmed. When and if I meet this new therapist, that my t will set me up with and will be present for. And if I decide to continue therapy.

what questions should I ask? Or what would you ask if you were in my shoes?

I would think about how you want to work with the new T. For me I know that I do better if T gives me an assignment then we discuss it at the next session. I do not like just talking. I want to have a roll in what we are doing and have an agreed upon treatment plan.

Ask how often you can see her because 2 wks is to long of a wait for the next appointment for you.

Umm.. it's probably an inappropriate question, but I would probably ask them how committed to living in the community was to them. Like... are they happy and foresee themselves looking for new job opportunities, or are they content where they are? Sure, things change... but some people are more commited than others. (For example - I live in a very transient community. I'm a teacher. There are a lot of teachers here who are married to RCMP officers - those teachers will leave after their spouse has done their term up here. Then there are others, who are single and from an area where it's really hard to get teaching work. Those teachers are less likely to look elsewhere and are more likely to commit themselves to living here).

They probably wouldn't tell you anything because "I'm not planning on leaving at the moment", but knowing me I would probably ask anyway!

Great question advice already. I would add a suggestion to ask how they work exactly, how you should expect sessions to go (will you do all the talking? Will they interpret what you say and do? Will they help you interpret your actions yourself? Will they use certain techniques? Will you have to set goals or do assignments? etc).
