I think my T kind of looks like Dr. Pixie McKenna from Embarrassing Bodies (who I have a TV crush on )

I see my new Therapist for the first time tomorrow, but a prior Therapist of mine looked a lot like a local radio DJ in the area.

As a bonus my current Primary Care Doctor looks exactly like a former radio (and current Internet) DJ in the area who I know very well (and see in person from time to time).

I can't think of any celebrity but if I can I will say so.

I think she looks a bit like a happier version of Miranda Lambert in this particular photo (not necessarily her in general though):

She has sometimes looked a little bit like Karen Carpenter to me, but I sure hope she lives a healthy and long life, not like Karen.

I don't know who my new T looks like but my old T had an uncanny resemblance to Lea Black from Miami Housewives.

I don't feel right posting or saying what celebrity my T looks like per se, but I can say that my current T is gorgeous. She looks like a super model. Looks and smarts...someone hit the gene pool lottery....lol.

Shelley Long who played Diane on Cheers and more recently Mitchell and Claire's crazy mother on Modern Family. It amuses me a lot to think of her as that crazy mother--makes her seem less calm and composed-- so thanks for the question!

You know what is interesting a lot of times we grow attached to our Therapists and we think that they are drop dead gorgeous when they really aren't that gorgeous (not that they aren't pretty) I used to think that with a former Group Therapist of mine but after looking at a picture of her with other young (to middle aged) women she looks pretty but not drop dead gorgeous (certainly not the most gorgeous in the group).

Who does T look like?

My T looks a lot like Santa Claus but with a trimmed beard.... kind of makes me feel comforted, actually.

I can't really think of anyone that my current T looks like. For some reason professional suit and tie type guys all look kind of the same to me-- kind of generic.

My last T from years ago was Phoebe Cates' (Drop Dead Fred) doppelganger. I used to ask her if she was sure that she didn't have a twin in Hollywood.

I understand. But that's not the case here. She is actually gorgeous. I have shown her pic to family and friends. She 30, has perfect skin, long brunette hair, athletic build, and the face of a model.

Past T's don't compare. T7 looked like Martha Stewart's twin. T5...she looked like an anorexic nerd. I am not nor have I ever been delusional...and I kind of take offense that you would assume that. Why am I wrong, but other descriptions are right? Or is that just a ploy to post a pic? I would never disrespect anyone I care about.

Actually, now that I think about it, I think mine looks like a cross between Bruce Lee and Grant Imahara from Mythbusters.

Santa for a therapist made me laugh

My T is beautiful Both aesthetically so (her fab hair was the first thing I noticed when we met ) and she has a beautiful soul - I know this thread asked for looks but I think you can be sort of hit by the beauty of someone's soul when you see it expressed through their physicality (in a different way to the shapes and metrics of their actual body) in the warmth in their eyes, a smile, other body language, etc. Not sure if that makes sense but hopefully it does a bit!
Thanks for this!

I have never really thought about the therapists I see as attractive or not. I don't, in general, tend to idealize therapists. I do not attach to them in that way. I have never been attracted to the ones I choose to see. I really don't look at them all that much.

Mine is 42, I suppose the closest celeb I can think of that mine looks like is Gavin Rossdale.

I can think of who my pdoc resembles as a celebrity, he actually reminds me most of my brother. He has a Brad Pitt "type" of look (the pre Angelina Jolie look).

I agree and can see your point here. I bet this happens a lot.
