Decided to write a memo type note to hand to the new person(t) on thursday what do yo

So this thursday, I am meeting with the new person (t) in her office, with my old t for the final transition, my old t will stay for 15 minutes.

I decided to write a brief memo of topics, to be fair to this new person and it will look like this, so what do you think, sorry the question mark does not work on my laptop.

Brief Memo:

To: New therapist (im not putting her name in the memo)

From: New client (im not putting my name in the memo)

Re: Suggested topics

1. Past marital issues ( which my old t suggested I process with her.
2. Feelings and Emotions ( therapy) and real life
3.Therapeutic Relationship very insecure at the moment.
4.Stressors in real life.

This sounds like a really great idea! I wish I had the courage to give my T the list of things I eventually want to talk about. We have plenty to cover, and are not short on topics, but there are some things I'm still keeping to myself for now.

thanks, this is totally light stuff, I am in no way coming near csa stuff, no where in the near future. trust must come into play, in fact i am reluctant to even addressing these issues , but my old t, suggests this is a start, and to keep it light.

It looks good. I don't quite understand why you would not put names in though.

The only other thing is you might want to do is list the things in your order of preference or importance.

I know that you are not happy with the change. I am also sure that both old and new Ts are well aware of how unhappy you are. Rather than trying to spend your last few minutes with old T and starting out new alone time with new T acting out the anger why not show both of them that you are at least willing to give the situation a try?

I like that idea about listin it in order, and I want to spend the last 15 min with t cherishing it, its like sayin bye twice, once at closure session, I wont get a chance to see my room again, then again on thursday. I think Thursday will be hard when she walks away leaving me with new person, then knowing she will be 2 doors away.

Eventually, you can get back to dealing with the CSA. This stuff takes time. She/he will probably know because it will be your file.

Sweepy, she deserves and needs as much info are you are capable of giving to her.

I don't think it's too much too soon whatever you write as things you want to address. Even if it was 10 feet long. No one would expect you to get to everything. It seems to me it's just sort of a way to start connecting with the new T. But maybe it's not like that for you.

I'm curious why you didn't add "difficulty saying good-bye to old T." I know you put that trust thing in there, maybe that covers it.

yeah, Im going to mention that along with the trust thing, i should be used to goodbyes lol
