In fact, if people would only behave themselves, we wouldn't have any history at all.

Does anyone watch American Idol? The one contestant, MK, looks the way I have always pictures Stopdog.
Thanks for this!

Ha - I think I am old enough to be her grandmother.
(actually I did not know who she was - but I did a search and saw her picture)

Someone on the couch made mention of Dorothy Parker, I somehow relate her to Stopdog in my head, or was it Betty davis dryly playing "Margo" in the movie classic "All about Eve".

I wonder if my mental pictures of pc people are even close to RL??

Year this will be the 2nd time for me should it happen.

The interesting thing is that with the Therapist who I saw for 4 years, I saw during the 2 snowiest winters in my area's history but I don't ever remember having to have to cancel a session due to weather so I guess I just got lucky, although I guess the difference is that this year we are getting a little snow at I time (and thus more snow days) rather than just 2 or 3 big storms like we got those winters.

The only great film about religion that I know of is Life of Brian.

I'm felling energised, which is great for work but not so good when I need to sleep.

Those who don't suffer tend to discount our internal issues. They forget: we can't escape from ourselves.

I just want to second what granite said Hankstah...it's not like you to be intolerant, and I post things about church frequently. People post a lot about movies they see, I don't see the difference. It really wasn't a religious post.

That's what I looked like in middle school. I wore a backwards sox cap without fail, hig tops, levis...yup. I got girlier in HS, but still not really girlie.

I also found it to be more of a religious post than most.

It is about to be the time of year for me when various unpleasant and creepy religious parts of my upbringing pop up. So I will simply be more careful about who and what I read.

Here St. Patrick's day is mostly a drunken fest. I approach it like I do Halloween - I just stay away until it is over. But I am not a big holiday kind of person in general.

Harmless gets you slammed in the 2014 Psychotherapy forums! Sucks.

St. Patty's is a huge drunk fest, but it's tons of fun too. I am Irish to the core, and I make the fam a corned beef and cabbage dinner, soda bread, Irish coffee....etc. I already have my green stuff out, and my door hanger. I love it, it's basically a heritage festival for me.

My great grandparents on one side came from Ireland - but it was never really a big deal about being Irish or not in my family. We would have corned beef and cabbage but that was about it.

I just want you all to know it's not me. The way I talk about my mom on here, some of you may wonder. My mom has her own place, heat, food, hot water, rides everywhere, doctors and someone to bi tch at every day.
