I don't know why but it feels good to me that my T can recognize when it will be useful for me to have 2 sessions this week.

Knowing I don't have to wait 7 days until next session makes me feel safer. (It HAS been 3 weeks since last session, though, cuz of vacations, etc.)

Yeah, I recently had a breakdown and now I'm starting to see my T twice a week every week. It's really important to have that kind of connection, where they can tell you need more than you're getting. I'm glad you have that. Not everyone does.

Seeing Madame T regularly twice a week helped. But making a single extra session made things worse, because I went to her for support and didn't get it.

I seem to be on a different wavelength now. Therapy is every other week so I have to cope on my own whether I need T more or not. I can't depend on her anymore. It's kind of weird. She won't suggest an extra session, but at least she emailed me when my daughter was in the hospital.

Sometimes I wish my T would suggest more than one session a week.
I called once a couple weeks ago needing a "crisis" appointment, and while she had no openings, she fit me in. And when I met with her she wanted me to keep my other appointment for that week -- though it was canceled later because we had a snowstorm.

anyway...she doesn't typically do more than once a week, and if she does it's just for a few weeks. I have felt like I need to ask for it, but afraid she will say no.

It does feel good when they recognize the need though, doesn't it?
Thanks for this!

I see T. once a month because the agency is so booked up. I feel the need at this time to go about every week, but she does not have an opening. Plus my employers requires a two week notice of time needed off. Still working on it. Best wishes.

I think it feels nice because it feels like she's attuned to you. She feels what you need and tries to meet that need. If you haven't had a lot of that in life then it's a very nice thing to experience.
