Today I did a walk in at the campus counselling center. I'm still currently seeing my other T but i decided to go to the campus office because of a major riff between my mother and i concerning my current T. I have my first appt. with new T tomorrow at 10 am and I'm nervous, even though I've been through this process before. I have forgotten what to expect.

I also have an appt with my current T tomorrow morning as well at 8:30-9:30 am. So its really a back to back thing tomorrow. Is this a bad idea?

I'm just really nervous.

I find that once I'm there, I can usually cope.
That doesn't reduce the anxiety much, however.

Does your college counseling center do long-term therapy? At the two colleges I have attended, the campus counseling center only did brief interventions (limited to 6 sessions at one, 10 sessions at the other) and referred students with deeper issues to a therapist in the community.

If your counseling center is like that, they may just do an initial assessment and then give you a list of referrals...
