I have paranoia and I'm afraid of seeing psychiatrist if she would know who I am.
Can I lie to her about my name, adress etc?
Because she will ask me this if I needed some medication...
But I don't want to get in trouble or get her in trouble about saying I'm person who doesn't excist.

If it is for something such as medication than you should definitely tell her your real name or else you could be held liable for certain things.

If you're using insurance, you definitely need to. But it's probably also illegal not to regardless.

I don't know, melania. You would need to ask somebody who is familiar with the laws of Lithuania. It's quite possible that neither you nor the psychiatrist would be in any kind of trouble, but it is equally possible that you would. (In Sweden, doing something like that could lead to criminal charges for the patient, but not for the doctor, I think. I'm not sure, though.)

I know it's illegal.
But how can they found out that I'm lying? I don't think that they are spying and searching does the person excist or no.

I'm afraid to go to psychiatrist It would be easier if she won't know my real name etc.

Here, some prescription fills requires you to show proof of who you are. Even if you lie, you might get caught when you try to fill the med.
Thanks for this!

And if you have something happen to you and they need to get you medical help, if they don't have your real name they won't have accurate medical records to work off of. Medical personnel need to know everything medical about you in order to safely treat you.

Okay- If I'm telling my friend's name etc (and she agrees which I think is impossible but I can try) then it would be okay?

Everything is so hard...

No, it would not be okay. Is it worth it to go to jail because you're afraid of something?

I'm afraid not. Both you and your friend could get into trouble that way. Please try to find another way, where you don't have to lie.

I'm really sorry things are so hard for you.

Are you using her ID/ insurance card?
That's illegal across the Europe. Plus if caught, your friend would have to say you'd stolen it, otherwise she could be in trouble too...
Seriously, is it worth it?

I think it more depends upon how your country operates - what requirements for prescriptions etc and whether it is illegal to get drugs under another name (in US = there can be civil and criminal penalties depending upon various factors).
I personally see no harm in it in a vacuum, but there are practical considerations that are area specific.

What if you tell him in your initial phone call that you are hesitant to receive treatment because you don't want to give him your real name. Maybe he has a solution.

You would have to pay the doctor some way (and doubt they would take cash) and if they give you a prescription, you probably would have to sign for it and have an account with that pharmacy, etc. Someone somewhere will know who you are so and be able to "check" that your address, phone, name, etc. all "work". When they type your name and address into a computer, it may know what addresses are correct, etc. so hard to "make one up" and remember all the details of what you have said.

I think OneWorld's suggestion is good. To call and give them your initial and tell them you are hesitant and if there is something they can do or work out. Maybe they can reassure you somehow?

I do think a huge failing in the medical community is the failure to just take cash and not involve 3rd parties. I still would not usually go see one, but it would be so much more direct and keep others off of my body.

Do you want, or feel you need, medication? if you need insurance you need to use your real name.

Using someone's name is identity theft. I hardly think that a T would be very happy if they found out that you were lying about who you are. What would be the point of your therapy if not to help you with your problems.

I agree , I think if you can't use your real name or address you should wait till you are ready or tell a professional about I. Using someone else's name is identity problem
