Ok, I have to boast one last time about my therapist.. We had a session again today as she comes to see me like three times a week at the moment at my house. (Which I find so amazing considering she has to drive all the way from her office to me and back)
It was difficult for me today because I had a very eventful week and a new lower prognosis and I felt a little sorry for myself. (Yep, sometimes I do!  )But we talked a little through this and she helped me to turn my thoughts and feelings around with a few pointed questions. She asked me: Amelia, what is it that you want to do before you..? I told her a few things I want to do but most of all, what I want to leave behind. She reassured me that we would make sure that I can leave a lot of the bad memories behind and that she wants to hear it all and that we would take the power away from the memories. This session was so healing and I am amazed at her strength - but most of all I am amazed at her dedication and care for me. Her week next week is booked out but she is going to reschedule another appointment (which I know means another client) to be able to come and see me a couple of times. I am just so grateful and I just had to share.. Oh and I just talked on the phone with another fellow PC member and just love her! Amelia

She sounds amazing
I'm so glad you have her, especially during this time. Do you have a partner/ family, Amelia, if you don't mind me asking? If that's too personal for the boards I'm sorry.

Wow, such a heartfelt post , it makes me sad yet so touched . you have impacted me in a very special way, I will be wit you in your journey, if not physically, but throughout communications and support. Happy your t is there for you.
