The new therapist called and said our insurance doesn't cover the appointments with him so he canceled our next appointment and i won't be seeing him any more. He is nice and all but i don't think it was going to work any way. i feel bad about feeling so relieved right now but in my opinion this is good news. Now i only have my regular Therapist like before. i might need to find another OCD therapist but for now it is good to only see Her again.

He has been very nice about the whole thing. He recommended someone else in the same place so that is good. i'll see her on Monday. It's good that the OCD therapist will be a woman, i'll just be more comfortable.

That's weird that he didn't even ask you if you would want to keep coming even though the insurance will stop paying for the sessions. Kind of hasty to just go ahead and cancel everything without checking with you first. I'm glad you are okay with it, though, and hope you can find someone soon. Maybe it's a gift and you will find someone super amazing. Timing is everything.
