I started with new T, I'm at a loss. Can long term years of depression be cured or just managed?

i think that it is a bit of a journey...
and that things will gradually get better.
sometimes it might be a bit of three steps forward and two steps back
but i'm fairly confident that things will get better for you

I was depressed for a lot of years (something like 25-30). It still comes back once in a while now, but not as bad as it was, and it doesn't stay like it used to. I guess I wouldn't consider myself cured, and I'm not sure how much I believe that I will ever be free of it forever, but it is so much better than it used to be. Things will get better for you too.
