No but now I'm curious. I watched a few minutes of Lisa Kudrow's Web Therapy and it was awful.

She isn't a T though, she is a neuroscientist. It was a little ridiculous to suggest that everyone at work and her partner of a year are completely unaware that she has any mental health issues. If she is really as unstable as the show portrays her to be, she should not be a practicing doctor. The show was pretty far-fetched.

I liked web therapy. I thought it was funny. But my all time favorite was Head Case with Alexandra Wentworth as the therapist.

Never seen it but now I'll look for it.

I'm almost done with the second season of In Treatment but I have to find time to watch when my spouse isn't around.

Totally forgot about it. When I saw "Black Box"I just assumed it was yet another crime show and watched Elementary. Saw the advert a few weeks ago, the title slipped my mind.

Just watched the trailer. Hate to sound like a snob, but I think that this is a little too TV for my taste. Think I'm going to stick with in treatment for shows about psychotherapists. But it does seem like a pretty big deal that a major network would do a show about mental health at all. Maybe that's progress ???????

I thought it would be interesting. I was wrong. I found it insulting to those with bipolar and ridiculous in the simplistic "help" she provides.

There is an amazing book that I recently read at the recommendation of T. It is Battling Bipolar Disorder: Christina Solak-Goodwin: 9781608300495: Amazon.com: Books. I think it is an amazing book She is a therapist but fights bipolar for years before getting real help.

Bummer, I DVRed it and was hoping it might be good... I have low tolerance for the way that everyone is describing the show. I'll probably start watching it, but like others will likely turn it off 10-15 minutes in.

I've seen the previews for it because it is played every commercial break. lol

It seems to me like one of those dramatic series that end up seeming partially comedic. Maybe it's because they only choose the most dramatic clips for the preview.

I saw the trailer for it a few weeks back because someone posted it on their blog...ugh I wanted to scream. First off the way the displayed her disorder is SO far from reality it's ridiculous. They made it so comerical and not at all like a person actually struggling with bipolar. I mean...her running and dancing in the rain screaming she can see colors? Then banging half the city only to suddenly become well again and solve some massive neurology issue? and also..no one knows she's ill? Crap

Ok so I saw the whole thing on demand with my h, of course we got into an argument, he tried to compare me, he said all bipolars are the same, I said, really, so I screw everything I see when I miss a dose o meds? That shut him up lol. So stupid, unrealistic.

I came across it a couple of days ago and watched about 3 minutes, then turned it off. It was unappealing and boring to me. Kind of distasteful. I'm not sure why. If I try a new show and it doesn't seem good right away, I tend to turn it off. I really am not sure why I found it kind of yucky, as I can hardly remember it. One woman had long reddish hair and the other was older and sat behind a desk. That's all I know! I just got a bad vibe from it.

I did like In Treatment.
