Yesterday I went to my third session in therapy. I felt happy to see him, and he gave me some compliments. He told me at the beginning of the session that he liked my bag and said it looked professional, and he also liked my shades. During our session, I gave him a piece of paper because I still find it a little bit easier to communicate through writing (e.g., explaining something or expressing my feelings), and as he was reading it he said that I write neatly and beautifully. - I get that compliment a lot with my handwriting. - At the end of the session, after eventually letting him know about my feelings, he allowed me to hug him at every end of session, and which he then told me that I give good hugs. I felt relieved to have said what I wanted to say, and even though I wished the hug could have lasted just a little bit longer, I did felt grateful that I got one from him. It also felt a bit strange at first, but it was nice.

This morning I began to feel sick - a sore throat and a few chills/sweat, while feeling nervous for tomorrow's meeting I'd be having with the state. I'm assuming we're going to discuss about the assessment I did weeks ago - they've been helping me find a job. We're also probably going to talk about assisting me to get more counseling sessions, since my family and I couldn't keep paying for it. Another good news would be that I should be getting on insurance by the beginning of next month. Although, I have this fear that the state won't be able to get me counseling with this therapist and they would have to find a different therapist for me. I really don't want to start all over again with another one.

I've known a lot of people who get sick after sessions, when you are releasing your thoughts and past, I think it effects your immune system. I truly hope it all works out for you.

The meeting did went alright. It seemed like the first two days of the assessment went rough, but the last two days were better - I knew what to do and was friendly. Apparently, I could be ready for employment. For counseling, the state counselor could try pay only a few sessions, until I told him that I have insurance and haven't yet contact the company. Then, he told me that I'm suppose to go to the therapist's office and give him the information for him to call them to see if they could cover the cost. I hope it does.
