Problem solving
Laugh
Invest in relationships

I think I appreciate "invest in relationships" most, because of therapy. I did not understand how to have a real conversation before.

She's definitely helped me work on these, even if we aren't complete.

Do What [You] Love
Laugh
Forgive (Specifically myself)
Self Confidence

I feel like she's hinted around these but not gone in depth:

Choose Friends Wisely
Invest in Relationships

Unconditional love goes somewhere in the middle. She wants me to learn what it is, how to accept it and then, by default, how to give it.

Creative problem solving...
Be proactive
Mind your own business..I worry about other people to much and try to help even if it is causing problems for myself

Meditate and Self Confidence, although there have been more powerful influences in my life during therapy so I can't say it was therapy alone.

My therapy helped me realize that I was already doing many of those things or that they are personal resources (such as creative problem solving, invest in relationships, enjoying life, keeping my word, etc).

We work on self confidence a lot.

I would not credit therapy with any of these. For me, the therapist is a disinterested human to whom I tell things I don't tell others.

A cat would serve very much the same purpose and would likely be cheaper (although no guarantees on the cheaper, but absolutely disinterested).

We are starting to work on:

Appreciate Life, Do What They Love, Self Care ->

As it pertains to me finding something that I enjoy doing that is for me only, that is to provide me with personal enjoyment/satisfaction/pleasure.

My cats don't pretend to be human. And totally not cheaper. And they purr - which is at least sign of interest in getting petted.
People spend money on all sorts of things others would not. That I spend money to pay someone to stay back is no odder to me.

I always knew this was the reason SD liked cats. Maybe tolerance of their interest in being pet is a bit of a development. I, on the other hand, love them for their interest in getting pet. But I can sometimes appreciate their disinterest as well. When they're willing to get off my arms while I type, for example.
