This one I call it NOT IN CONTROL this is an assignment , my t asked me to tell her what it meant for me when I can't be in control of things, what it felt like, I couldn't exactly put in words without getting frustrated, so she told me to draw it.

So I drew my brain exposed and my heart on the outside and I'm hanging from chains.Another feelings drawing

It's... Beautiful...
I'm sorry, I should write how much expression this drawing exemplifies and how much is going on in this drawing etc... But I just love it so I cannot "judge" it with an objective point of view...

Feel free to express your feelings on this drawin, its why I put it up, I have alot going in my brain lol. Its how I express myself sometimes in therapy, when I get frustrated and words dont come out. I dont draw in sessiin, only at home, then take it to session

I used to draw as a kid, but got punished alot, and was ordered not to. They use to tear it up, because they were different.

I guess when I'm tired my English isn't good enough, I just wanted to let you know that I like your drawing so much that I can write only about how much I like it

But I'll try... My main question would be: why your brain and heart are so small in comparison with other body parts?

Love the picture. I wondered about the meaning of your brain and your heart being on the outside. I wondered if you'd lost control of them because they were on the outside or that what ever had more control over them than you did was exterior vs your interior.

This reminds me of My Name is Asher Lev You should really read that sweepy, if you haven't. Its about an orthadox Jewish boy who live in NY. His parents forbid him to draw, but he does it compulsively. Its a really good book.

I also really love this drawing. You really seem to like to separate out body parts in your work. I think in the last post there was a hear shaped thing with some contorted feet inside of it. I wonder why you like that so much.

thanks, I love to read, i have an account with kindle, I am going to look up that book, I dont know why I do that. I just draw these things, Im taking this one to my session on wed, my t asked me to draw something on what control means to me .I get up very early and I love to draw in the early early hours, then my moods just fade in the afternoon, but my mind races with lots of ideas. Thank you for liking it.

there is so much going on in this drawing it affects me quite a bit because I feel a lot from it, what are you drawing with? i have used some different colored pencils but the color is so light on the paper it doesn't nearly convey what I want it to.... the colors are so dynamic in your drawings.

This is amazing. The interior/ exterior thing is so significant!! The way I read it, it shows how much you are striving valiantly in your therapy, to literally view your heart outside. Hanging from chains depicting the utter discomfort you go through - but you still determinedly press on.

Fantastic, please keep sharing your drawings!

Thanks they are inktense pencils, I hadnt finished yet, I went over them with water to bring out the colors, it now brought the drawing to life. Im sorry if I triggers you, I have so much emotions that I dont know how to explain, so I draw it.

thanks, I appreciate it! i'll look for those. I wasn't triggered really didn't mean to imply that, at least not in a bad way, felt lots of feelings flowing through though and that's not a bad thing, gave me a chance to practice acknowledging/accepting them and letting them go. so it was a good thing and i'm so glad you are sharing these.
