My old t always said you cannot address past trauma when there is present stressors . She even stressed this in front of the new t during our transition session .

We all agreed, current t is always asking how things are at home, but this past session we started suds and we made up a suds schedule and a tentative date for exposure therApy.

Also starting next we like I said the schedule for the next four weeks will be as follows: 1. First ten minutes= how the week went. 2. 40 minutes = suds discussion. 3. Last 10 minutes= grounding.

Which is ok I think. If all this crap was not going on. Right now I don't want her thinking I'm avoiding, because we both know I have an avoidance issue. She wants to work on that, and she said she wants to keep a consistant pace in our work.

Subjective Unit of Distress Scale. It's usually a scale of 1-10 rating how upset or uncomfortable something makes you. For example, if you have a fear of spiders, maybe seeing a spider on TV is a 3, seeing another kind of bug in person is a 5, seeing a spider in the distance is an 8, and having a spider near you is a 10.

I would be more concerned about having a spouse who thought he could forbid me from anything than I would be about a therapist.

Yes after my meltdown today and emotional irrational thoughts from the stress of having to go the hospital with his mom again, she seems to be admitted every 3 months now, I lost it started , throwing **** around, cursing, he said I guess I was wrong you are sick you need meds and therapy.

I said I'm sick of being a slave for you and your prejudice mom.
