My T has never canceled on me in the year we've been working together. I've had to cancel a few times because of being in the hospital, so I definitely understand him having to cancel because he was sick. Unfortunately it doesn't make it easier when I feel like I really needed this session today. I've been very emotional today, and I was looking forward to being able to talk with him about my sh this week and my father being out here.

I don't know what to do until I can see him again. I have group on Tuesday morning and a session with my other T on Tuesday night. It just doesn't feel the same and now I'm wondering how I'm supposed to make it through until Tuesday without seeing someone when my father will be back out here in a day or so.

Did he give you a reason? When is your next appointment?

He had to go home sick. My next appointment is for Wednesday evening. I'm hoping that if he's back tomorrow and he has a time open that he'll call me. The receptionist didn't want to schedule me tomorrow because she doesn't know if he'll be there tomorrow.
