Well I've been trying to find a group therapist (although this process is really making me miss my wonderful old T - we terminated in April

It all depends at the group therapy I did they wanted me to draw a lot which I really wasn't into.

You could:
* Do an internet search * Look on a community notice board * Ask your doctor

In my experience with group therapy, the group matters about as much as the therapist. Don't forget that it won't just be you and your therapist, there will be the group as well. I honestly don't really know about looking for a group therapist or group so that it will be a good match, it's more of a trial and error thing unless you have more information to begin with. I suggest you check out the therapist's website or blog if s/he has one so you'll get a feel for their approach, just as you might do for individual therapy. Look up if the therapist has anything published online or off about group therapy, their approach in group therapy, a group therapy case study or presentation of a group - that will give you a better idea if it might be what you need. As for the group dynamics, I don't think there really is a way to know before you go to some meetups. Good luck!
