To me insurance companies are a bit like doctors, they hear only half of what you say and then do what they want to do.
you might have better luck if you see a pdoc for meds and a regular T for therapy. that way you will have more options for Ts than just the ones who can prescribe. good luck! hope you find someone who is a good fit.

That's exactly what I am going to do. Monday I am calling a therapist, I found a list of names and profile information and making an appointment. I am going to ask if they have someone they work with that prescribes medication.

I've heard of a lot of stuff... but never anything like this! Cheek swabs?? That just doesn't seem real. And I just can't believe how callous he and his office staff have been toward you in your extraordinary pain. what a jerk, is all I can say.
