You can wear anything to therapy. Maybe you could mention your therapist your issue with wearing shorts and what this means to you.

CE went as a wookie or Sith or something one time. He even posted a picture.

I will say, my T probably thinks I only have one pair of shoes, and bad taste. I hate my feet. Very rarely do I show up in sandals, unless they're slides. So, there have been a small handful of occasions where I've worn sandals and bare feet, but I typically wear my adidas slides with socks. yeah, I'm sure people have pet peeves about people who wear socks with sandals, but that's me! I like to get comfy in there, so the first thing I do is take my shoes off. Sandals/slides make it so much easier to do that. I then usually sit cross legged ("indian style") on the couch.

I have no idea what that is (or a sith either for that matter) - still brave to wear it in and braver still to post the picture.

Okay, I'm a nerd. I'm falling around the place laughing here at the idea of mistaking a Nazgul for a wookie. Sorry SD.

Mind you, a Nazgul goes to therapy is funny enough on its own... Or a Sith for that matter.

Mistaking a nazgul for a wookie sounds like pretty much the last mistake you'll ever make! :P

(I find it fascinating that knowing what a nazgul is could be considered nerdy. I am very nerdy in many ways, but I would not count that as one of them.)

i wish i still had my star trek uniform. now i totally want to go to therapy in that... lol.

tho i *could* go in my pjs... i always dress nicely (b/c i have children and i never get to dress nicely at home - yoga pants and tshirts) but i could show up in yoga pants that have goo on them from babies and a t-shirt that's three sizes too big.

Hellion, Csa is childhood sexual abuse. I have problems with touch and revealing stuff even like my legs is something i get anxious about.
