I know some of you told me to leave therapy and some said I should talk about why therapy had been scaring me, but I didn't really found it helpful and we were suppose to just be working on getting me ready for employment. I ended up going to therapy on Thursday, although I was five or ten minutes late, but then earlier this morning I typed up a goodbye e-mail. I told him I appreciate the other things he helped me with and that we might work together again someday in the future. I have canceled the next session we made and it felt like I broke up with him. Breaking up with a therapist is like breaking up with your boyfriend, though I never had one.

I haven't been in a serious relationship and I agree - it's like breaking up with someone. Your heart literally breaks.

It's really difficult, especially if you ended up trusting your t. Hope all goes well for you.

Have you set up a better therapy plan for you to get the help you want with getting a job? Working on something else helps me with transitions.

Not yet. At the least I'm going to join a club called Toastmasters on Tuesday evening and I'm reading through this self-help book for overcoming anxiety, and currently volunteering at the library to get some new experience.

Those are all great starts. Can you contact your insurance and ask for a different T?

I was just going to contact job services and ask for a change of therapists. I never thought of contacting the insurance, although, that would probably be a good idea. However, I got some papers from them that looked confusing. It covered the previous sessions before I even had insurance and when the therapist had been letting me pay a little less than what it normally cost. It shows the total responsibility is over a thousand dollars, though, it also said at the top that it's not a bill and when I asked the therapist about it, he said I don't need to owe him. So, hopefully, I wouldn't ever have to.

Can you call the insurance company to confirm that? It sounds like it's a really worrisome paper!
