Hi everyone ,
Is it wise for me.to.go.back.to.my old therapist after ten years not see.her ?
She was one of my old high school teachers she became a LPCC now she been in practice for over ten.years but she was ill and was.out for sometime and now she is back practicing again as a LPCC where I graduated from.high school . My other therapist wasn't as good as she . I had a male therapist who cross a boundary issue about me getting a job .it was none of his business cuz he didn't know long enough to.ask that question in session .

If you think she can help you, I think it would be a good idea to go back and see her.

Are there reasons that make you wonder if it would be a bad idea?

If you enjoyed working with her I would certainly give it a try? If it does not work out you can move on to someone else. Sometimes it can take several different therapists before we find one who works well for us.

Perna I just found out that my old therapist is having surgery next month and she will be closing down her practice for awhile until she is well enough .that will not be until November but she will.be limited for.her to.practice .she told me yesterday I will.have six sessions w her . She suggested that I need to.find another therapist .I will not go.to.my other therapist who was a male he didn't do much w me and he dug in too much asking me.about a job it's like it was none of his business to.ask.that question to.me cuz it crosses a.boundary issue w me .
