Well I went to my doctor today been in bad knee pain, which thanks to my mother in law, ( well its just that im still holding resentment, but may she rest in peace) I injured myself lifting her. I have a torn tendon miniscus. Next week I will see the orthopedist.

Anyway, my doctor who I know for 4 yrs and love, has just told me next month is her last month, she is not old either, she told me she is burnt out overwhelmed and depressed, she had tears in her eyes, I had a meltdown, yet another change in my life of someone leaving OMG. WHAT ELSE!!!!!!!. I am more angry at my t now than ever.

Not only do I feel like calling her and leaving a message, that I need her to estimate when my schedule will return back to normal, as she knows and has told me, I dont do well with change. This is very important to me, I need some sort of answer by next session, I cant go on seeing her every 3 weeks then 2 weeks then 1 month, I cant do sporadic. The new t starts working next week, so I guess it would be fair to say one month for scheduling to get back to normal or a month and a half. but I will not go for 3 months of this crap. what do you think

Thanks Asia lol I'm certainly angry enough, I think after my doc said said she was leaving, that was enough change for me. This is the icing on the cake.

I don't need therapeutic sugar coating or therapy speak or some empathic beating around the bush answer !!!!!!'

I need her to tell me an estimated time of when I'm going back to weekly.

I'm very very sorry Sweepy. For what it's worth, we'll be around. I absolutely agree that it's a good idea to contact your therapist and have her commit to a stable schedule. Stability is a cornerstone of success in therapy, as you can tell. It just sucks that this is going on right now. Keep your chin up and keep posting. I hope you're taking very good care of yourself, you deserve it.

thank you leah, I know i can rely on you guys, at this point all I want is some consistancy in my therapy, or at least for her to tell me an estimate of when it will return to normal, within a reasonable time.

My T is such a dildo, she would just ask me why I need certainty and what's wrong with things being up in the air. She thinks wanting to nail things down is some kind of character flaw.
