I got curious today because I know I have been seeing my pdoc a lot the past 18 months. I have seen him 20 times so just about every 4 weeks.

It got me wondering how often other people see theirs.

Every 4-8 weeks. If I'm doing better, it's longer and if I'm not doing as well, it's a shorter amount of time.

Usually every 3 or 4 weeks. I haven't seen her since July though. We did talk on the phone in August about a medication problem. I have no idea when I will see her next.

I was at every 3 months, but I'm in the midst of a medication change, so right now every 3-4 weeks (less if needed).

Have not seen a PDoc in 15 years. Never. Want. To. See. One. Again.

Typically, every 4 weeks.

Insurance will only let me go every 2 weeks (unless it's a real emergency). I asked the nurse what's the longest clients can go w/o seeing the Pdoc, she said 3 months.

Once a month, same as my Therapist right now but I only see her for 15 minutes vs 45 for my Therapist.

My Pdoc is my T, so it used be once a week. Now that I'm better it's once a week for skills group and around every 4 weeks for individual sessions. But this is pretty flexible and on an as needed basis. Group is ending in a couple months and I'm a bit worried about what we'll do afterwards, as even though it's not a formal session it gives me the opportunity to see T and feel cared for.

Every other month - but he'll definitely squeeze me in if I need to see him before. He just squeezed me in this week and I have another appointment next month.

My pdoc is so busy it is hard to get appointments. He squeezes you in though when he can. I just want to get back to going every 6 months. Just saw him today and will see him again in 3 weeks.

Every month but I could never fit into his schedule. Last time there was 9 days between running out of meds and seeing him again. I got snarkily told it is my responsibility to schedule appropriately, when I called for refills and explained the situation. So he squeezed me in, I told him his schedule is not MY nightmare, and it is next to impossible to get in every 30 days.

He switched me to every 3 months. Guess he knows exactly what a nightmare his schedule is since he has to work it!
