Well I just got a call telling me that my Therapy session for this week has been cancelled due to a family emergency with my Therapist. Fortunatley for me nothing real hard has happened with me as of recently but I sort of wonder what happened with her such as was a family members death (which is what I suspect it was), with a prior Therapist I may have asked but with this Therapist I really don't feel close enough to ask.

Is someone covering for your T?

Unless my T brought it up, I wouldn't mention it and I have close relationships with both my Ts.

No, I have to reschedule for sometime when she is available, which may not be for another 2 weeks (I currently see her once a month).

You might not have to ask.
I think it would be understandable that she say "Sorry for missing our session" or "Sorry that I had to cancel", which would allow you to ask if she is okay - if you wanted. But, if you only go once a month, enough time would have passed for her not to say anything, too. |

I was able to reschedule but the closest time they had available was about 2 weeks from now.
