Thanks sunny!

No don't know what her degree is, but I am planning to ask the next time we meet. I know I have every right to ask and to know what her degree is, but I will feel like I'm being nosy.

I feel better, having had some time to recover from the anxiety of the first appointment. I tend to fall apart after sessions and was really hoping that reaction was related to the last T and type of therapy and wouldn't start up again. It's taken me several days to feel better. It's exhausting!

I don't really have a life outside of work. The emotional stuff and therapy just seem overwhelming to me. Isolation used to be the answer but now I'm not even comfortable being alone.

I don't know how those of you with relationships/family responsibilities/school can do all the things you do and I really do admire you for it!

I agree with the whole idea of finding it hard to balance everything. I tend to do work, school, therapy, home and the rest kinda fizzles apart....it's hard to keep on top of everything. Don't pressure yourself.

It sounds like this new person could be a great fit for you! I also like how she reassured you, that is a very caring gesture imo.

I don't think her degree matters if YOU feel comfortable with how she may plan to treat you and you have a relationship with her that you are finding helpful. Definately ask, and it could lead you into how/why she feels it could or may not be a good fit. Sounds like you're off to a good start already....
