Because I have yet again took time off from nursing school due to complications of my pregnancy, my T suggested that I start going back to at least 1 group per week again. I've done groups before, but I'm still nervous with starting a new group with a new group T that I don't think I've met yet. I'm trying out 2 groups this week and next week to see which one better suits me, and I'm hoping one of them has a T that I know running it.

Hello AmyFed07: You are certainly to be congratulated for going ahead & checking out these new groups. This sort of thing can be daunting. It's great you're willing & able to forge ahead. Good luck!

I think you're idea of trying more than one is good. Even if you don't know one of the T's you can see if a group feels right to you. If not try another two, you'll find one that works for you.

I just started a new group this week too.

So good luck to both of us.

Thank you both. I went today, and the group is ran by the same 2 therapists as the previous group I used to go to. So it was nice and less intimidating starting a completely different group. Still might try a different group on Tuesday depending on the time slot to see which one I like better.
