Why oh why can't my t be my mum?! God I hate that she's not. I want it I want it I want it. *stamps feet, throws self on floor* argh!!!!!

If she were your mum you would want another mum. It's illusion she would be perfect mum, no one's perfect in real life.

Ah, god, the stories I've heard and read about how screwed up and resentful the children of therapists can be! They're only human after all, the kids and the Ts. Lunatic Soul is so right about the illusion. But that doesn't help much because you already know all that.

I can relate. I have a foot-stomping bratty teenager inside that shows herself every now and then with t. She's gotten so good at recognizing her, she picks up on it before I do now. And I don't even see her in person anymore, we just talk on the phone, and she'll say "I am picturing you stomping your feet right about now" before I even do!!!
