Alexandra, where are you???

We need you to explain transference and such in one of the other threads.

And to reference Kohut.

And all your other great insights.

Come back!

and the date on her post in that thread was: #454429 - 01/18/07 04:48 am so it was well over two months ago......

which is why we tried to help explain how to bring up a member's profile to be able to check when a member last posted or where they last posted.

sorry if we added to any shared confusion.

at least we're all clear on the fact that ak is greatly missed!

biiv...

if you search through the archives you can find old threads. if you respond to an old thread then you bump it up so that it is the thread with the most recent post on the forum.

e.g., i just brought my 'nailbiting' thread that was a couple pages into the archives up to being one of the newest threads on the board by posting a new response to it. (though who knows whether it will still be on the page by the time you wake up)

;-)

so zen bumped the whole thread out of the archives and onto the current pages. each post is dated but i don't often check the date. not sure how much people bump things out of the archives.

thanks alex. i think it was echoes who was confused though...and i just got to your nail biting thread thanks. alexadra_k? people bump things relatively often i think. been guilty of it a lot myself since i often get days behind on threads and then have to work back about three pages before i find stuff ive already read. sometimes i just have to reply to something even if it means bumping it a couple of pages.
anyhow. thanks for explaining and

check out alex's post above. alexadra_k?

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
