I live in a very small town in an agricultural area. Has anyone here ever tried therapy online over Skype or FaceTime? Is there a chance I might find a therapist that would come to me? The nearest therapists offices I can find are an hour to two hours drive away.

Jeez. Thats far! They would probably, but the cost will be so high!
My neighbor does therapy over Skype. She loves it. Her therapist lives 10 minutes away but she can't because of kids she is taking care of. She really likes being in her own house when therapy takes place and it really helped her.

I live in a very rural area and see a therapist an hour away, but I only see her twice a month. I did Skype sessions for a little bit with someone and it was helpful. I recommend trying it. It was expensive and not covered by insurance and that is why I had to stop.

Online therapy may be the best option for you. Just google online therapy in your state. It's important that the therapist who provides therapy online is licensed in your state. It's a legal requirement for online therapy since licensure requirements differ from state to state.

I've done online therapy using the Metanoia list: Metanoia: online therapy

My in-person therapist was 2-3 hours away (different state!) but worth it. If you find one who you work well with, it can be worth the drive/trip.
