I think my session tomorrow is going to be a difficult one - perhaps even a breakthrough one.

Pocket riders, anyone?

No idea what a pocket rider is but I wish you all the strength you need to get through this.
Thanks for this!

A pocket rider comes to session in a pocket for support It's just another term for supporters. I'll also fill you in on how it went afterwards. Thank you for your support

Does this mean you can view the thread on your phone while in session?

Thank you. I've always wondered what a pocket rider was.

Well, I hope you have a good session. Sorry if it sounds generic, but I've never wished someone a good therapy session before.

There's always room for one more. Settle in with a hot cocoa and a soft cushion. All are welcome.

Pocket Riders for difficult session - any takers?

Also, googling "kitten in a pocket" is rather rewarding.

Thank you everyone!

2 hours to go. My tummy is churning, heart is racing and head is spinning.

Hopefully tonight I'll be up for letting you all know how it goes, but I might be too shattered. I'll let you know soon though xx

Well, I didn't cry, but I was honest about how tough things have been for me lately. It was a difficult session, with a lot of silence and awkwardness on my part. But my t handled it well - talking to me, being with me, sitting with my emotions and hearing my pain. Given my level of instability, my increase in SH and serious sui thoughts and actions, my t decided we should call the crisis service - with the option of keeping myself safe or going to the ED. She will call me tomorrow to see how I'm going.

Since my session, the crisis team has seen me. I was not so honest with them, they decided I was not an immediate risk. After they left, I tried to take my life. I failed, took myself to the ED, told them what happened, got patched up and waited for an hour and a half for the crisis team again. I didn't want to see them AND I wanted to go home and smoke a joint, so I left.

Home now, not SH-ing but feeling incredibly pathetic and ashamed.

Do you have any plans for what you'll do if it gets that bad again, at least until you talk to your therapist tomorrow?
Thanks for this!

I'm going to try snd get some sleep. If it gets that bad again, I guess I'll go back to the ED and stay there. In a way I feel like I made a rash, and perhaps the wrong, decision leaving. But think I'll make it through okay to speak with t. My biggest issue now is a feeling of deep regret, as well as feeling like a fool. I'm so ashamed of what's happened the last few hours.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
