My t and I were kinda dancing around the subject of termination this evening during my appointment, she kinda "said it without saying it" that it's up to me to say when. That what we're doing isn't really therapy anymore, I forgot the word she used to describe what it's become. Our conversations are still really helpful for me so I'm not quite ready to say "when" but I'm getting close. But right now our talks still make me think, and I value her knowledge and skill with regard to dream work, so I am continuing for the time being. She said that in my latest batch of dreams (7 of them from the past 2 weeks!) she didn't feel any suggestion of it being 'time'. I told her, the first time she mentioned that I hadn't had "the termination dream" yet, that I didn't ask her what that meant because I didn't want the answer to influence my dreaming. She sort of explained it a little, without giving any examples, but didn't really explain it at all, if that makes any sense. I didn't want her to, because I still don't want my dreams to be influenced. It was a really good, back and forth, balanced conversation between two equals this evening and I enjoyed it a lot. We shared some laughs, and some touching sentiments about this relationship and the work and stuff, and I came away from it feeling that yes, when it is time I will know, and it will be right. Just wanted to share this positive feel-good stuff!

Your journey has been amazing! You and your therapist have done a wonder body of work together, even finishing over the phone too boot. Thank you for letting us be a part of it.
