I saw my standby therapist for half an hour today, and she has amazing skills. At the moment she is helping get through a medical quagmire, and I am grateful.

Had another fantastic session with our couples counselor. Before we started going I was so afraid that my own concerns would be ignored or serious problems would be mitigated between us but this woman does an amazing job of making sure that we are both seen and heard. My partner and I both feel like we've been through an individual session even though we're all in the same room.

I had another good experience with my T this week. I was validated in some feelings, felt stable and able to talk about stuff that I needed to talk about without stammering a whole bunch.

It was one of those sessions I just came away feeling stronger and more 'grown up' if that makes sense.

and --- wow am I the only one who posts in this thread now? :embarrassed:
