Found a case regarding an ex therapist named Kathleen Jones.

http://www.psychboard.ca.gov/public/..._12_13_acc.pdf

She accepted a client who was sisters with a friend of hers, (dual relationship).
After 6 weeks of seeing client, she began asking her out to lunch/dinner/walks.

Of course this made client feel special. At one dinner they were having a conversation and client asked T if she was a virgin when she got married. T flew into a rage and kicked client out.

Canceled all clients further sessions and sent client a bill for $4,000.

One month later took all clients things to her house, client tried to talk to her but T ignored her and left.

Client ultimately filed charges, resulting in T losing her license.

T also engaged in friendships with other clients including accepting legal services. Craziness.

Here's another one, with a dual relationship and improper termination (abandonment)

In the first one it is interesting how the emails were brought up in the complaint and it was specifically brought out the therapist signed "love" in the emails. If I were a therapist I would NEVER use email in therapy.

That is a really bizarre abuse of the therapy relationship. Very sad.

theres another one where the T was assigned a foster youth, and she wound up leaving her partner in order to engage in a romantic relationship with her female client. I was surprised. Most of the female T's seem to get in trouble for not keeping records, not submitting court docs and (a few times) blurring the friendship line. But sexual abuse? yikes

A long time ago I was assigned a T because my Pdoc said I needed a female role model. She crossed the line and became my 'friend'. She knew I had problems with friends, but would make plans then blow me off. She also told me that guys don't like girls like me. I am not a girly-girl. She also said that if the Pdoc found out I would be in trouble. She moved away and lost track of her. It took another T a couple of years to undo what she did. With this T I was able to work through my issues. I was able to find a guy, marry and have a kid. I still suffer from depression and take meds, but I am happy.

Ok let me see if I can repost it. It was Gia Marie Marson, easy enough to look back up again.

Does this work?

Her offenses don't begin until page 17, her actions with patient 143.
