I feel it coming in again, that sinking feeling. I am not happy with things but I cannot change them. What should I do? I don't want these feelings to rise up again but here they come. I am getting anxious about it and now I feel that I will fall into this haze of wonder. I hope I can clear my head for what I have to deal with today. Please comment with anything that may help, I hope someone has gone through the pile up of emotion stage and maybe can help me through this tension building feeling.

I like the phrase, haze of wonder, but I don't know what you mean by it.

I might be experience something similar to what you're posting but I'm not sure I understand what you mean. If what you're talking about is similar, idk. If I get any good ideas from therapy today I'll post here.

I try to ground myself through 'mindful' walks. I try to get out of my head by going for walks someplace I find peaceful and taking in all the sights and sounds around me. I treat myself to things I like doing like drinking coffee and reading the paper. If it's a dangerous path I'm heading down I distract, distract, distract until I can speak to or contact my t.

I agree - distractions until you can see your T. try to find the root of what is causing you so much dread.

What I meant by haze of wonder is that I wonder about a lot of things but this wonder is shrouded and my mind doesn't really fully understand what it thinks. I guess I am just confused and now with all the things going on today added to the rest of yesterday, I just don't know how to process it all. I am confused by my confusion if guess you could say. I am trying to figure out one confusion by using another confusion and it is not working. Please do post or even send me a private message on it too anything would help me.

I see what you are saying but my T doesn't really accept phone calls mid week or where they are not scheduled. She will talk to me and pray for me on the phone but I don't think that I need that at the time and it does not help me figure out what to do.

My confusion is causing it but I seem to have more confusion building up to try to deal with it. I need calmness and peace but there is non to be found if you knew my life situation. But thank you for commenting on this and if anything else comes to mind please share it with me.

I find that doing workouts (push ups, sit ups) really helps with tension release. Counting how much sets of them I do really gets my mind off of things. Try that and see if it works.
