T called me back. She said the Dr.'s are confident that they got all of the tumor out. (It was a soft tissue sarcoma deep in her leg, stage 3 so it hadn't spread yet)
She underwent radiation and they do not think chemo will be neccessary this time around. She is on crutches and has a good size indentation in her calf but said she is doing well.  She set up an appointment for me to come in the 17th of May. Whew.  I told her to bring a big box of fluffy tissues cuz I was a mess. Thanks everyone, for your support through all of this.

Thanks everyone.
 I had really spun myself into the ground. Then when I hadn't heard from her by noon today, I was convinced she was not well...and started thinking "Well, if she had died, I think someone would've told me or at least cancelled her voice mail service."

I went through sickness of a therapist. I understand.... and.... I am so pleased for you. What a load off eh?

Hi! I am glad it all worked out! I understand your feelings and struggles with this...my first and best T ever had thyroid cancer. It was difficult to deal with.
