What a whirlwind trip this was. Long story short:

1. The funeral went well. I had a great time with my cousins and we had great conversations, laughed etc. There are 13 of us and it was nice to see everyone.

2. I had to rush back here late last night. We decided to pull our son from his daycare after the teacher lied about how he got his head injury. They have webcams there and we saw what happened. So, I am investigating new daycares.

3. I have taken so many notes about how my 6:00 session for tonight. I never did hear from my therapist but I didn't expect to. I'm not nervous right now. I kind of feel indifferent today about the session. We'll see as time drags on if that changes.

I see I have so much to catch up on!! Thanks to those who wished me well with the funeral. It was tough but also quite healing.

I'm off to catch up on some housework and I plan to return with a nice cup of coffee and start reading up on all of you. I hope you are all doing good.

Hi Mouse, Pink, Secret, Sister and Withit!

I miss my uncle dearly. He's been in our family since he was a teenager. He and his wife were married for over 40 years. Now, that is something.

There is a lot I can learn from how Uncle John lived his life. He always smiled, laughed at anyone's jokes, he also never said a nasty word about anyone.

Hopefully today, my son will have a new daycare. It's pouring here.
