Have you ever felt like your T has changed their approach to how they respond to you without explaining it to you?

I feel this is happening at the moment with my T and it is majorly triggering my fear of abandonment- I keep thinking I have done something wrong!

I would confront the therapist if I thought such a thing occurred.

Yep. It did happen to me. When it's done with no explanation it's unfair and destructive. It is your therapy, it has to be about your well-being and so you should have the right to participate in deciding whether to change the approach or not. It's not just your T's decision. It's your decision as well, especially given that you are paying for this.
