In outpatient therapy it's usually been fifty minutes or an hour.
Here where I'm living now I've seen my therapist, the clinical director, from anywhere from a half hour to up to two hours! Yes when we get on a topic or he starts talking he/we don't stop LOL! However it's also very sporatic we try to keep on an every week schedule but I'm learning that's impossible with his job as clinical director. So we could do a couple weeks in a row and then I won't see him for a month things like that. Currently I haven't been seeing him for a few weeks due to me wanting to move out of the place and doing some things on my own to explore this and honestly not wanting his thoughts on that. |

I find 50-55 minutes to be enough.
