I think if I could spend a few days with my T., all of my curiosity would go away. I know a fair amount about her but wonder all sorts of things like what she's like with her family and friends. It drives me crazy and doesn't help that we live in a small town. I ran into her last Friday at a store. Then, Saturday a friend told me she was late meeting me because she was busy talking to my T. and her husband. I just can't get away....

More importantly, why am I curious? I don't want to be!

I can relate, there's still so much I'd like to know about my ex T. I asked him a bunch of questions in my last sessions and I'm glad I did, but now I still have so many things I want to ask him. Spending a few days with him sounds great to me too, it would cure a lot of curiosity I guess.

I think you're/we're curious because therapy is a one-sided. T knows so much about you while you don't get to know much about her. The longer you're with someone, the more you'd like to know about them. I find it very normal to want to get to know someone you spend so much time with.
