So you guys may remember I sort of kind of went off on my therapist 3 weeks ago after finding my mom had another small stroke and was in the hospital in Northern VA. The quick recap was I emailed asked for a session cos I really needed one and she just had too much going on with moving her office and clients stacked high to the ceiling because of some time off she had coming up.
She was polite, I emailed that the situation was pissing me off, etc.

Well I saw her last Thursday in her new office. It's a beautiful place in Kingwood, TX and waaaaay better than her old digs. I immediately apologized again for being an *** in the email (I had apologized in email form already) and we discussed it briefly. She's always so cool about everything. She told me she really was trying to work me in but between my schedule and hers it just wasn't possible.

She is a consummate professional, and always so good about things. she's very easy going and a wonderful person in general. So we're good. I was just freaked at the time with things being so new to my Mother's situation. Mom is recovering in a rehab facility now and working on getting stronger.

I'm glad you and your therapist were able to talk about what happened and that she was as accepting and compassionate as she's always been.

Also great news that your mom is in a rehabilitation facility and she's making good progress!
Thanks for this!

I would have expected nothing less from her. If a therapist cannot be compassionate and professional, they need to be somewhere else.... like... far away from me or anyone else in mental pain.
