I started with a new T. I swore I'd never see a male T but I thought I'd give it a go.

It feels like T is yelling. I want to telll him to shush. He interrupts too. I don't know if it's just that I miss old T or if my worries are valid.

I think I'll go with no T for a while but I wondered if anyone else ever felt their T was loud to the point of yelling?

Can't say I have ever felt T was too loud. She also NEVER interrupts.
Don't like the sound of him at all...

One of the many things I love about my T is that she is so quiet. She has always talked so quietly. I like it because it makes her feel more gentle and genuine. I record my sessions on my phone and she talks so quietly that I have to edit them just to hear her. Sometimes I interrupt her but she never interrupts me. I need to stop doing that.

I haven't felt yelled at but the interrupting alone would make me want to stop seeing any therapist. Or any person who interrupted habitually.

It felt like when I talk to my siblings and we all talk on top of each other but without the comfort level involved.

My ex-T used to interupt me occasionally. I talked so little I couldn't quite believe it. I think it's a major sign of mis- attunement. I'm sorry you haven't been able to find a good T for you.

Is he old enough to have a hearing problem?

Not that that would explain the interrupting. That sounds bad.

Tell him to not do that, that's what I do with mine who usually thinks he wasn't yelling. I tell him he has old ears but that I'm not deaf.
Thanks for this!

My CBT T sometimes uses his outdoor voice indoors. But he doesn't interrupt
