Say I used to see a psychotherapist and recently I won a gambling game and won couple millions. Turn out the psychotjerapist was also at that casino I was in as I saw her. I received a call from an anonymous number and blackmailed me to share some of my winnings with my psychotjerapist at a particular location or ill have my notes be given to tmz.

It's my understanding that blackmail is illegal for everyone.
Thanks for this!

Not sure how reliable your story is. Looking at your past posts, you claimed to be three different ages within a span of about 4 months . . .

If it matters enough to TMZ, and you have actually won millions, I think a lawyer is better than this forum for advice.

I can't be sure but I think OP is asking a rhetorical question.

Blackmailing is illegal, therapist can't demand money from you but what's up with age? You were 18 on April 11 but then 24 on April 13 yet in December you were 22.

hi makeshift,
that's very illegal for a therapist to blackmail you to.share your winnings w her. you can report her to the authorities and possibly strip her of her counseling license.

Diagnosis: Anxiety and depression

Yes, this is illegal for a therapist, or anyone else, to do.

Just say nothing about it. Maybe drop in a session that you've been so grateful for this new phone/email/etc app or operator who blocks all forms of spam and unlisted numbers, because with that sort of win you'd expect all sorts of wierdos trying to scam you but the app/operator has really proven their stripes because you've had no spam or blagging messages what so ever!

Or just say your mobile was stolen the night you won. Oh well, you'll be using your mum/sister/brother's mobile if he/she needs to contact you and just forward their number to him/her- oh and as their in the forces they may not get the messages back to you right away.

Then leave after the next session, say you've decided to share your winnings with your therapist- you've been two-timing your T all this time and you just feel too guilty to carry on like that.
